  • Class parents: Parent volunteers for each homeroom are needed to coordinate class events and chaperone field trips when needed.

  • Food Days Program: A PTO committee administers the Food Days program in all schools. Volunteers distribute food to students on Food Days.
  • Special Grade Level Events: 2nd Grade Environmental Day, 3rd Grade International Day, 4th Grade Science Fair, 5th Grade Colonial Day, 5th Grade Picnic, 6th Grade Medieval Day and 7th Grade Victorian Day are coordinated, staffed with volunteers and funded by the PTO. These special days are eagerly anticipated by the students and provide unique opportunities for the students to be immersed in themed activities that are tied to the specific grade level curriculum.
  • Enrichment Programming Committee: Our committee coordinates and funds educational programs for each school over the entire school year. These programs focus on topics that are tied into some aspect of the curriculum or character education. They may include Cultural Arts, Visiting Authors, Visiting Artists and STEAM programs.

Staff Appreciation Luncheons, Gifts and Back to School Bagel Breakfasts are coordinated by PTO volunteers at all three schools.
  • Other volunteering opportunities include: School Photo helpers, Winter Coat Drive, Kindergarten Workshop, Field Days at Gillette and Millington, Gillette and Millington School Family Socials
