PTO Food Days

Food Day is an optional fundraising program sponsored by the PTO. Students are given the opportunity to purchase food items from local vendors . PTO volunteers coordinate the orders and serve the lunches to the children.  All the money raised goes back directly to our schools and to our students. 

Gillette School - Food Day on Mondays and Wednesdays every week. Ice Cream days one Wednesday per month. 

Central School - Food Day on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday every week. Ice Cream Day one or two Fridays per month.

Vendors include:  Angie's Gourmet Deli, Blimpie, Ciro's, King's, Millington Station Café, Natale’s, O’Bagel, Smoothie King and Soup Shoppe.

All ordering for Food Days and Ice Cream Days is handled through www.myFoodDays.com. There are several ordering periods throughout the year. All lunches are pre-ordered and paid in full during the open ordering periods. Once your order is placed and the ordering period has closed, it cannot be changed. There will be NO REFUNDS for orders placed and not received due to student absence. Orders left in your shopping cart must be paid in full by the close of the ordering period or the order will not be processed. Please pay careful attention to dates and deadlines.

**It is the parent's/student's responsibility when ordering to be diligent in making food choices, as well as when receiving/eating the food items. The Food Day Committee cannot take any responsibility for allergic reactions. Please contact the vendor directly with any additional questions/concerns**

Student Absence

School Closing/Delayed Openings/Early Dismissals on a Food Day:

School Closing: Food Day cancelled and rescheduled.

Delayed Opening: Food Day cancelled and rescheduled.

Emergency Early Dismissal:
If announced before start of school: All Schools - Food Day cancelled and rescheduled
If announced after start of school: 
* Central School- Food Day will go on with normal delivery times.

* Gillette School- Food Day will go on with adjusted schedule.
