🏫 2nd Grade Community Day

Join us for a special day of learning, exploration, and appreciation as our 2nd graders celebrate everything that makes our Long Hill Township community so great!

 

Community Day Information

Community Day is a school day dedicated to learning about and appreciating our local community through hands-on activities and interactive experiences.

 

The event is typically held outdoors behind Millington School, with the APR used in the event of rain.

 

👕 What Students Should Wear

  • Comfortable outdoor clothing
  • Clothing and shoes that can get dirty
  • Please apply sunblock before arriving

🎒 What Students Should Bring

  • A filled water bottle

Outdoor water refill stations will be available throughout the event.

 

🙋 PTO Parent Volunteers Needed

PTO parent volunteers assist throughout Community Day in a variety of important roles, including:

  • Helping vendors set up and break down
  • Managing check-in and greeting tables
  • Assisting with crowd flow and transitions
  • Distributing bags and materials
  • Helping serve ice pops to students
  • Providing additional support throughout the day as needed

Your support helps make this event a fun and memorable experience for our students!

⚠️ Volunteer Requirement (Please Read)

Volunteers at PTO-sponsored events must maintain an active PTO household membership for the current school year.

 

A $25 household membership covers your family for the full school year and directly supports PTO programs, events, and activities for our students and staff.
