2nd Grade Community Day

Join us for a special day of learning, exploration, and appreciation as our 2nd graders celebrate everything that makes our Long Hill Township community so special.

Community Day Information

Community Day is a school-day experience designed to help students learn more about our local community through hands-on acivities, guest speakers, and interactive experiences.

The event is typically held outdoors behind Millington School, with the APR used in the event of rain.

What Students Should Wear

• Comfortable outdoor clothing
• Shoes and clothing that can get dirty
• Sunscreen applied before school

What Students Should Bring

• A filled water bottle

Outdoor water refill stations will be available throughout the event.

PTO Volunteers Needed

PTO volunteers help support Community Day in a variety of ways, which may include setup, greeting and check-in, student transitions, distributing materials, refreshments, and other event-day needs.

Specific volunteer opportunities and assignments will be shared as the event approaches.
