Millington Field Day

Millington Field Day is a fun end-of-year tradition that gives our 2nd–5th grade students the chance to enjoy games, activities, and time outdoors with their classmates.

Students rotate through a variety of activity stations throughout the day, with parent volunteers helping the event run smoothly.

PTO VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Field Day relies on parent volunteers to help with activity stations and event-day support. Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Helping set up activity stations
• Assisting with games and student rotations
• Helping distribute supplies or refreshments
• Supporting teachers and staff throughout the event
• Assisting with cleanup as needed

FIELD DAY VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES

To allow as many families as possible the opportunity to participate, volunteer sign-ups are limited to one parent/guardian per family.

Volunteers should only sign up for a grade in which they currently have a child enrolled. If you have children in multiple Millington grade levels, you will have opportunities to see all of them during Field Day regardless of which grade you sign up under.

If you sign up and later realize you have a conflict, please notify the Field Day organizers so your spot can be offered to another family.

Because Field Day includes a rain date, volunteers should only sign up if they are available on both the scheduled date and rain date.

Specific volunteer assignments, event-day details, and any additional instructions will be shared as Field Day approaches.
